    Le 19 décembre 2025Microsoft Office 2024 Home & Business est passé de 249,99 $ à 99,97 $ sur Mac ou PC. L’offre évite l’abonnement, mais le code d’activation et l’absence des services Microsoft 365 méritent une vérification avant le paiement.

    Le prix met l’abonnement au tapis

    L’opération combinait une remise immédiate et le code promotionnel MSO24. La baisse atteignait environ 60 %, soit 150 $ sur le tarif affiché de 249,99 $. Il s’agissait d’une promotion ponctuelle, pas d’un nouveau prix permanent pour Office 2024.

    Le calcul vise les utilisateurs qui préfèrent payer une fois pour installer les applications de bureau plutôt que régler des mensualités. À 99,97 $, la suite devient plus facile à défendre pour quelqu’un qui utilise surtout WordExcelPowerPoint et Outlook. Pas de quoi faire sauter la banque, mais la réduction change clairement l’équation.

    À 99,97 $, l’argument principal n’est pas la nouveauté : c’est la sortie du prélèvement récurrent.

    Word, Excel et compagnie passent à la caisse

    Microsoft Office 2024 Home & Business regroupe cinq applications : WordExcelPowerPointOutlook et OneNote. Outlook prend en charge les e-mails, les contacts et le calendrier, tandis que les autres applications couvrent la rédaction, les présentations, les feuilles de calcul et la prise de notes.

    Les applications de bureau fonctionnent hors ligne, sans navigateur ni connexion permanente. On peut donc ouvrir un document dans un train ou travailler sur un Mac éloigné du réseau, puis retrouver une connexion pour les usages qui en dépendent. Le Wi-Fi peut prendre des vacances, les fichiers locaux restent accessibles.

    L’offre existe pour macOS ou Windows. Il faut sélectionner la bonne version au moment de l’achat : une licence destinée au Mac ne transforme pas un PC en Mac, même avec toute l’imagination marketing de Redmond.

    Le bureau fait sa rentrée

    La suite conserve les outils attendus pour rédiger un document, construire une présentation et manipuler des feuilles de calcul. Excel reste l’application dédiée aux formules et aux tableaux, pendant qu’Outlook rassemble la messagerie et le calendrier dans la même interface.

    L’achat unique donne accès aux applications de bureau, mais il ne faut pas le confondre avec l’ensemble des services proposés par un abonnement Microsoft 365. La différence porte donc moins sur le nom des logiciels que sur ce qui les accompagne.

    Le code promo joue sa dernière cartouche

    Pour atteindre 99,97 $, il fallait cumuler la remise affichée avec le code MSO24. La procédure ne demandait que quelques vérifications :

    1. Choisir la version destinée à macOS ou à Windows.
    2. Vérifier que la remise immédiate apparaît dans le panier.
    3. Ajouter le code MSO24 pour obtenir le montant de 99,97 $.
    4. Récupérer le code de licence envoyé par e-mail et l’associer au compte Microsoft dans les sept jours.

    Le montant étant exprimé en dollars, il ne faut pas le présenter comme un tarif européen définitif. Le prix de 99,97 $ correspondait à cette opération datée du 19 décembre 2025. Le fan absolu de la rédac applique donc une règle basique : vérifier le total du panier avant de crier à la bonne affaire.

    Le nuage Microsoft reste au vestiaire

    Le choix dépend surtout de l’usage. Celui qui veut installer les cinq applications et travailler principalement avec des fichiers locaux peut privilégier l’achat unique. Celui qui attend les services associés à Microsoft 365 doit comparer les deux formules avant de valider, car la licence à 99,97 $ ne les inclut pas.

    Le compte Microsoft devient le point de rattachement de la licence. Il faut donc conserver l’adresse utilisée lors de l’activation et le message contenant le code. Le perdre, c’est transformer une économie de 150 $ en petite chasse au trésor administrative.

    La remise était agressive, mais elle ne transformait pas une licence de bureau en accès complet à l’écosystème Microsoft 365.

    Une affaire, mais pas le couteau suisse du cloud

    À 249,99 $, Office 2024 Home & Business demandait un arbitrage plus lourd. À 99,97 $, l’achat devenait plus cohérent pour les utilisateurs Mac ou PC qui veulent cinq applications hors ligne et refusent un abonnement.

    La promotion ne changeait toutefois pas la nature du produit : un achat unique, un code à activer rapidement et des services Microsoft 365 laissés à la porte. Le prix baisse, les petites lignes restent.
